Kevin A F McGarry, BSc, MBA
Kevin McGarry has an extensive and broad
business and academic background. He has been
the principal shareholder and CEO of several
successful small to mid sized companies, the
largest being Colliers Pratt McGarry, a 100 person
commercial real estate services and development
company. In 1999 he founded Keystone
Technologies Inc to provide commercialization
funding and management to life sciences
research coming out of the St. Boniface General
Hospital Research Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
More recently he founded Western Life Sciences
Venture Fund; an early stage life sciences fund and he is the CEO and
principal shareholder of Lombard Life Sciences the Fund manager. He
has been the CEO of several of the Fund's investees including IL
Therapeutics (now Pacgen Biopharmaceuticals), Monteris Medical and
others. He is currently on the Board of Directors of Pacgen
Biopharmaceuticals Inc. (a listed public company), Monteris Medical and
IMRIS Inc.

James A Richardson, BA
Jim Richardson is a retired Vice President of
James Richardson & Sons Limited and the
current President and Director of Westmead
Limited. A graduate of Queens University, Jim
has a broad business background and is a
major investor in several technology and oil and
gas companies. He is extremely active in the
community being Senior Manitoba Director of
Ducks Unlimited, Chairman of the Nature
Conservancy of Canada (Manitoba Region), a
trustee of the Richardson Foundation Inc. and a
trustee of the University of Winnipeg
Foundation. He was Chair of Sport for the 1999 Pan American Games,
Past President of Big Brothers of Canada, a former Regent of the
University of Winnipeg and has served on the boards of numerous other
community organizations. Jim is currently on the Board of Directors of
several private Canadian companies including Arista Technologies Inc.,
LibreStream Technologies Inc., Strand Energy Inc., TelPay Incorporated
and Tundra oil and Gas Ltd.

Fiona Webster Mourant, C.I.M -1990
Fiona Webster Mourant is the President and Owner
of Manrex Ltd. a Winnipeg based designer and
manufacturer of medication delivery systems.
Manrex products have been sold around the world
for over thirty years. Fiona has held several
positions at Manrex since joining the firm in 1981
culminating in the Presidency in 1990. Together
with a partner she purchased the company in
1991. She is a recipient of numerous business
awards including Manitoba Woman Entrepreneur
of the Year, finalist in the Ernst and Young
Entrepreneur of the Year Award and regional
finalist in the Canadian Women Entrepreneur of the Year Awards. She is
active in the community being the current President of the Children's
Hospital Foundation, a Director of the Business Council of Manitoba, and
a board member of the Manitoba Research Institute. She is a former
board member of The Women's Enterprise Centre, the Health Care
Products Association of Manitoba and Past Chair of the Small Business
task Force of the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce and is a mentor with
the Women's Business Owner's of Manitoba.

Gary Bantle Director, BDC Venture Capital, Life Sciences Group
Mr. Bantle has over 10 years of venture capital experience. Prior to joining the BDC, Mr Bantle worked as a research scientist in the area of drug discovery for a number of pharmaceutical companies. Mr Bantle holds a M.Sc. in organic chemistry and MBA in New Venture Development from the University of Calgary. He is the co-inventor on two pharmaceutical based patents and co-author on over a dozen scientific publications. Mr. Bantle has been the lead investor on a number of life science investments over the past ten years. He currently sits on the Board of multiple life science based companies and is active with executive, audit and compensation committees.
