Job Title: Assembly Associate(s) Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba Status: Now Accepting Applications RIVA - Robotic IV Automation Intelligent Hospitals Systems is an exciting, fast-paced, growing medical device company developing a revolutionary new robotic system designed to automate the preparation of patients' intravenous medications in a hospital pharmacy setting. RIVA is the first fully automated system to prepare both IV bags and syringes, in multiple sizes, for pediatric, adult, and oncology environments. RIVA is being developed, and will be manufactured in, Winnipeg. Intelligent Hospital Systems has openings for several individuals with experience in a manufacturing environment. Your primary responsibilities include:    •    Reading work orders, following production drawings and construct sub-assemblies to integrate into the main assembly product.    •    Mounts assembled components to boards or units using assembly tooling.    •    Installs multi-level sub-assemblies and modules into complex configurations.    •    Route wire cable and harness assemblies into mechanical assemblies.    •    Understanding of lean manufacturing principles.    •    Works with manufacturing & design engineering on new assemblies and assists, instructs & trains new operators. Qualifications:    •    Minimum Grade 12 education required.    •    2 or more years experience in a manufacturing environment.    •    Must read, speak, and write English. Skills and Experience:    •    Previous electro-mechanical assembly experience preferred.    •    Read and interpret drawings and shop aids.    •    Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.    •    Able to work in a team environment, and be self-directed when required.    •    Excellent communication skills.
